Indian Army Agneepath Scheme

Indian Army Agnipath or Agneepath scheme is a hiring procedure for Agniveer general duty, Technical Air & Munitions Examiner Clerk/Storekeeper and Tradesmen positions for a period of four years. Following four years of service with the Indian Army, 25% of Agniveers will remain within the cadre of regular soldiers on the basis of merit, readiness and medical fitness. They will be able to serve for a total period of 15 years. In addition, the remaining 75% of the Agniveers will be demobilised and receive an exit plan or “Seva Nidhi ” package that ranges from Rs 11-12 lakh. Find the full details of this scheme from the link below. Candidates must have completed 10+2 Exam Achieved a pass in any of the streams (Arts Commerce, Science, Arts) at a minimum of 600 marks and at least 50% marks in each subject. Securing 50% in English and Maths/Accounts/BookKeeping in Class Xll is mandatory.
Agniveer Tradesmen (All Arms) 10th pass Candidates must have passed the 10th grade exam. There is no requirement on percent of aggregate, but they should have scored 33% marks in each of the subjects.

Indian Army Agniveer Medical Standards

(a) A person who is a candidate should be in good physical condition and a good mental state.

(b) Chest should be properly developed with the minimum of 5- Cms expansion.

(c) Should be able to hear normally with each ear , and good binocular sight in both eyes. He should be able read 6/6 on the chart of distance vision using each eye. Colour vision must be CP-III.

(d) Must be able to show a sufficient amount of healthy natural gums and tooth i.e. minimum 14 points on the dental side.

(e) Does not need to have bone deformities, varicocele, or hydrocele piles.

(f) Can be able to recognize green and red colours.

 

Indian Army Agniveer Salary

Candidates who have been selected for Agniveer within the Armed Forces will be offered with an amount of. 4.75 lacs starting from the 1st year. This will be increased to approximately. Rs. 6.92 lacs in the fourth year. In addition to the annual salary applicants will receive allowances such as the risk of hardship and risk and rations, dress, along with travel and accommodation allowances.

Seva Nidhi:The Seva Nidhi package is priced at 11.71 lakh rupees. 11.71 lakh, inclusive of (Including the interest accrued on the above sum as per the applicable interest rates will as well have to be paid). 30% of the monthly earnings will be paid by individuals , and an equivalent amount will be deposited by the government.

death compensation:Non-contributory term life insurance policy of 48 lakhs, with an additional ex. Gratia of Rs. 44 lakh in case of death attributable to military service. The portion that is not reserved of up to 4 years and includes SevaNidhi Component.
